The rivers that run near the port of Veracruz are optimal for whitewater rafting adventures, as they offer rapids for all skill levels.

La Antigua River. Located 25 km (16 mi) from Veracruz, this fast-flowing river has 17 class III and IV rapids. Nearby you’ll find a camping area offering all the services you’ll need for a rafting outing.

Jalcomulco River. Located 143 km (89 mi) northwest of Veracruz, near the town of Jalcomulco. This river has class III and IV rapids. In Jalcomulco you’ll find camping facilities and guides offering their services.
