Jardin Botanico El Charco del Ingenio. Located 2.5 km (1 mi) northeast of San Miguel de Allende, off Highway 1. This 100-hectare (247-acre) ecological reserve was created to protect and conserve the region’s wildlife. At this spot you can observe endemic flora and a wide variety of endangered species.

Orquideario Los Pocitos. Located on Santo Domingo Street. This place has a diverse collection of orchids. Open Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 4:00, Saturdays from 10:00 to 2:00 and Sundays by appointment only.

Jardin Botanico CANTE. Located at 71 Mesones Steet. This 100-hectare (247-acre) protected area was created by civil association CANTE in order to conduct research and observe the natural habitat of the region’s native species.
