In the town of Ezequiel Montes lies the Peña de Bernal, which is located 60 km (37 mi) from the city of Queretaro. During the spring equinox, thousands of people descend on this site to absorb positive energy. Rumor has it that there have been several UFO sightings near this large rock formation. Many visitors also say that prior to the spring equinox they have seen a face on the hillside that is similar to the Atlantes of the Tula archaeological site, in the state of Hidalgo. They claim the image becomes more noticeable along the road from Cadereyta to Ezequiel Montes.
