Playa del Carmen is a cosmopolitan destination that offers exquisite
Yucatecan cuisine and international fare. Among the traditional
local dishes are cocido, relleno blanco, relleno negro, chocholomo
and cochinita pibil (pork bathed in orange juice served with beans
and red onion).
There’s also the standard Quintana Roo fare, such as fish and
seafood seasoned with chili peppers and spices; red snapper, lobster
and snails are among some of the dishes you can enjoy. As for
international cuisine, you’ll find everything from Italian pastas
and Argentine steaks to French desserts.....
