EcoAlberto
– Located 85 km
(53 mi) northwest

park you can
observe various
species, such as
cetaceans,
millennium-aged
coniferous trees,

El Chico
National Park
– Located 24 km
(15 mi) north of
Pachuca, south of
the town
of Mineral del Chico.

park, which
extends across
an area
of 2739 hectares
(6,756 acres), you can explore
mountainous terrain
covered with
pine, oak and
fir forests.
Here you’ll
see a wide
variety of
indigenous fauna,
small valleys
with curious
rock formations and
steeps with
spectacular
lookouts.
Prismas
Basalticos
– Located near
Santa Maria Regla, 34 km (21 mi)
northeast of
Pachuca. Here you
can see columns
of prism-shaped
basaltic rock
formations, as well as a
spectacular 30-meter (100-foot)
waterfall.
Peñas Cargadas
– Located 28 km
(17 mi) east of
Pachuca, off
Highway 105 in the
direction of
