Playa La Boquita
– Lies west
of Santiago Bay.
This beach
with fine golden
sand and
small waves
is great
for enjoying
various aquatic
sports. This
beach is
ideal for
snorkeling, as it
allows you
to see
the remains
of a sunken
ship and
beautiful coral
formations.
Playa Las Hadas
– Located at
Manzanillo Bay, 3 km (2 mi)
east of
Playa Santiago. This spot
is tucked
away in a cove
with small
waves. Thanks
to its
shallow waters,
it’s perfect
for novice
scuba divers.
Playa La
Audiencia
– Located at
Santiago Bay, 3 km (2 mi)
south of
Playa Santiago, in the
Peninsula de Santiago
neighborhood. This
beach, which
has a tropical climate,
golden gray
sand, a gentle
slope and
mild waves,
is the ideal
spot to do various
land and
aquatic sports.
The waters
here have a
maximum depth
of 12 meters
(40 feet) with
a sandy and
rocky bottom.
At this
beach you
can rent scuba
diving and
snorkeling gear.
Playa El Arrecife
– Lies southwest
of Manzanillo, on
an elevated
point of
the Juluapan
Peninsula, near
the Villa del Mar
neighborhood. These
waters, which
are 19 meters (63
feet) deep,
offer gorgeous
underwater scenery
for scuba
diving.
La Roca del
Elefante
– Located on
the Juluapan
Peninsula, in
southwest Manzanillo, which
is about a
20-minute boat ride
from Miramar and
one hour
from the
port of
Manzanillo. In these
waters you’ll
see an
underwater canyon,
which is
the habitat
of hundreds
of colorful
fish, making
it the ideal
spot for scuba
diving and
snorkeling...
