At
the nature
reserves and
ecological camping sites in
Manzanillo’s surrounding
areas you
can do various
outdoor recreational
activities, such
as hiking, which
allows you
to appreciate
the region’s
wildlife, and
horseback riding,
which offers
a view of
the bay.
If you
had something
more adventurous in
mind, we
recommend Tyrolean
rappelling, which
involves harnessing
yourself to
a pulley and
sliding down
a cable at about
40 kilometers (25 miles)
per hour
between two
platforms. This
experience is
only for
the most
intrepid travelers.
At these
places you can rent
all the
proper safety
equipment.
