Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, one of Mexico’s most beautiful beach destinations, is located on the Pacific coast, in the state of Guerrero, 245 km (152 mi) northwest of Acapulco, off Highway 200. The climate is hot, with an average year-round temperature of 28º C (82º F).

Nestled between the Sierra Madre mountains and the Pacific ocean, this destination consists of the picturesque town of Zihuatanejo, which has a traditional rural feel, and Ixtapa, a modern tourist resort with quality hotels and a marina with more than 600 slips

What’s more, you can participate in wildlife conservation programs to help protect endangered species such as the hawksbill turtle and the Olive Ridley sea turtle.
