The city of Aguascalientes offers diverse parks where families can have a learning experience and enjoy nature. You can also visit swimming resorts, which are both traditional and entertaining.

Parque El Cedazo – Located on Blvd. Aguascalientes Oriente. Among this park’s main attractions is a small dam, which has three manmade islands that draw many migratory birds. The park also offers workshops for children, such as painting, piano and dance classes. Open Tuesday through Sunday from 6:00 to 6:00.

Parque Ecologico Rodolfo Landeros Gallegos – Located on Blvd. Jose Maria Chavez. Here you can take a ride through the park on the so-called moto-train. You can also take out eco-friendly vehicles, visit the open-air theater, go skating and check out the botanical garden. Open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 to 6:00.

Parque Infantil Miguel Hidalgo – Located on the corner of Av. Adolfo Lopez Mateos and Poder Legislativo. This 5-hectare park has a green area with ash trees, poplars, laurels, eucalyptuses and other trees and plants. It also has a manmade lake, a children’s play area, a skating track and a scenic train ride. Open daily from 7:00 to 7:00.

Balneario y Centro Deportivo Ojocaliente – Located at Km 1 on the Aguascalientes-San Luis Potosi Highway. This resort has a swimming pool, an Olympic-size pool, a water slide and saunas. Also of interest are the swimming pools with thermal waters, which range in temperature from 36º to 40º C (97º to 104º F). Thermal waters are known as a treatment to help blood circulation and rheumatic illnesses. Open daily from 7:00 to 7:00.

Baños Termales de Ojocaliente – Located at 102 Av. Tecnologico. This was one of the city’s first swimming resorts.
